Active Storage Adds CFO with Extensive Startup Experience

Active Storage is pleased to announce that Jane Wike has joined the company as CFO, after working as Interim CFO this spring.
A California CPA, Jane has worked at six venture capital-backed technology companies serving as CFO in three. Her experience includes public and private financings, numerous mergers and acquisitions, and management of significant international operations.
“Having worked with many early stage companies, Jane's background will be invaluable as we continue to grow and prosper,” said Active Storage founder and CEO Alex Grossman. “Since starting here in April, Jane has made significant improvements to our control and operations infrastructure. She has no problem rolling up her sleeves and making things happen.”
Before joining Active Storage, Jane was CFO at Apriso Corporation where she managed the company’s financial, human resources, legal, facilities, and IT operations for six years. Prior to Apriso, Jane was VP of Finance at Arroyo Optics. She held the same title at Cybermedia. Other stints included CFO at Cresenda Wireless and Controller at ISOCOR.
“As a CFO, I think my primary responsibility is to be a facilitator of good business. From that follows smart growth, and from that, everything else,” said Jane. “I’m excited about joining Active Storage, because they’ve got great technology and products, smart people with a can-do attitude, all backed up by tier one investors. Jane graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of California, Berkeley - Walter A. Haas School of Business, but her proudest recent achievement is climbing Mt. Whitney this past summer.
